Selection of Wine
We mainly deal with small Chateaux which are not represented by large wine groups/ négociants, and offer wines which the French drink in their popular wine bars.
We can give exclusivity on certain wines for your country and it is also possible to develop your own private label.
We can also supply wines under EUR 1.50 EXW per bottle from France/ Germany/ Italy/ Spain but the minimum order from the client must be 6,000 bottles in one shipment.
Samples
These can mostly be available free of charge for entry level wines, and some other mid-level wines but clients may have to pay the freight charges.
Pricing
The prices will be quoted Ex-Cellar (EXW) or Cost, Insurance and Freight (CIF), or, any other international standard. It is possible that a producer of wine may ask for some advance payment in certain cases.
Quantity
The minimum order from a single chateau is 6,000 bottles for shipments to China and the US and, 3,000 bottles for shipments to Japan and South Korea. We accept pallet orders (600 bottles) for shipments to European countries.
In certain circumstances, we can deliver mixed bottle orders from different chateaux/ wineries.
Payment
A client must pay 30% at the time of order if the order is from a particular chateau.
It takes 3-6 weeks from the confirmation of the order to prepare for the delivery. Rest of the payment is due before the pickup of the delivery.
For a mixed order from different chateaux/ wineries, the full amount is required from the clients at the time of the order.
All payments will be required according to International business standards. No financing will be available for the purchase of a particular delivery. The payment terms can vary from Chateau or group of Chateaux.
Invoicing and Contracts
All contracts are signed by the client and the supplier at the time of order. This Agreement is governed by the law of England and Wales, and is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Disputes arising out of or in connection with the present contract may be finally settled under the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce by one or more arbitrators appointed in accordance with the said Rules. The seat of arbitration shall be France. The language to be used in the arbitral proceedings shall be English. This contract shall be governed by the substantive law of England and Wales.
